The allegedly infringing conduct centered around the RS-DVR system, that the court described as “not a single piece of equipment,” but rather a complex system requiring numerous computers, processes, networks of cables, and facilities staffed by personnel twenty-four hours a day seven days a week.” [See Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp. v. Cablevision Sys. Corp. (Cablevision I), 478 F. Supp. 2d 607 (S.D.N.Y. 2007) at 612. ]
